For those of you who don’t know. Team Freeman has been working hard the last couple months to work with Owens Corning and Purple Heart Homes to find a veteran to provide a free roof and gutters to.
What is a veteran? A veteran whether active duty, retired, discharged, or reserve is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the “United States of America” for an amount of, “up to, and including their life”. That is honor and many of us forget or don’t understand. So for as much as Jason Wills has given us the least we can do is be able to give him and his family a new roof with Freeman Exteriors donating labor and Owens Corning Roofing donating material.
Jason Wills is a veteran who has an amazing story of never quitting even through all of the injuries he has acquired.
Here is the plaque he will receive on the day of. Stay tuned for a video with an interview of his story and the whole process of him getting his new roof.
