This project was completed in Lafayette, Indiana. The homeowners called us after a large storm came through the area. When our inspector came out the entire home roof, siding, gutters, and windows were destroyed by hail. We met their insurance adjuster out at the property and were able to get everything covered for the customer. We came in and removed 1 layer of shingles, and re-shingled the home with Owens Corning Duration Sierra Grey shingles. Now the homeowners have the peace of mind of having an Algae resistant, transferable 50-year limited lifetime warranty shingle with 130 mile per hour wind rating.
We also removed the old, damaged siding, installed house wrap and installed all brand new Certainteed Mainstreet siding for the main of the home. We then installed Certainteed Synthetic Cedar siding for the dormer on front. The customer also received new 5” gutters and 12 brand new Pella windows with a 30-year warranty.
We were able to work with the insurance to get everything covered with no cost from the customer. From start to finish this project took 5 days to complete.
